General Luna has now been declared Alert Level 1. This comes from having a high COVID vaccination accomplishment for the general public and for senior citizens. As of today’s date, the rural health unit of GL reports 93% of the population is vaccinated, and 70% of senior citizens have gotten fully vaccinated. GL on alert level 1 means that the municipality has endeavored to protect it’s citizens, and the national vaccination committee acknowledges the vaccination accomplishment – hence the de-escalated alert level.
