The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan would bring rain and cloudy conditions over the Batanes and Babuyan Islands and partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the rest of Luzon, weather service PAGASA said in its Friday afternoon forecast.
The Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA, and Bicol Region meanwhile could expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the combined effects of the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters could be expected in Luzon and the eastern section of the Visayas, while the rest of the country was forecast to experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.
