As of 3 a.m., the Tropical Depression is located 2,820 kilometers east northeast of extreme northern Luzon packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour, gustiness of up to 70 km/h, and almost stationary.

Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon. Flooding or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for extreme Northern Luzon is strong moving  southwestward with rough coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving  southwestward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving southwestward with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise will be at 5:41 a.m., sunset at 6:23 p.m. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
