UST snaps NU’s 20-game win streak in five-setter; Adamson downs FEU

The University of Santo Tomas snapped National University’s 20-game winning streak in a five-setter, 25-23, 27-25, 17-25, 22-25, 15-11, on Saturday in the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.

This is NU’s first loss since 2019, which is coincidentally, also against the España-based squad. The Lady Bulldogs swept the elimination round and the finals in Season 84 to take the crown.

Earlier, Adamson University took down Far Eastern University, 25-21, 24-26, 25-14, 25-21, in the women’s division.
