Today, more special things are happening in General Luna. Simbang gabi has just started. The Church was full and our hearts are full, too. What a meaningful way of waiting and preparing ourselves spiritually for the birth of our Lord. Today also marks the first anniversary of Typhoon Odette, the typhoon that took so much away from us but all the more strengthened our hope and faith in the Lord.

Let’s see each other, pinayangga ko na lungsuranon nan General Luna, for eight more blissful mornings until Christmas. Let the simbang gabi, the memories of Odette and the faithfulness of the Lord calm our busy hearts and assure us all that Jesus is, was and always will be the reason for the season.
