The Local Government of General Luna, in partnership with MSWDO and RHU, launched the TIMBANG MARAJAW – a 3-month nutrition program with the theme “Dajaw Timbang, Dajaw Kinabuhi” on September 28, 2021. Kitchen utensils, rice, tarpaulins, record books and plates were distributed to 12 barangays with counterpart allocations represented by Barangay captains, BHWs and BNS.
The feeding program aims to address the malnutrition in the locality that will cover the malnourished children aged 6 months to 5 years old. The program will start its implementation on October to December, 2021 to the following barangays: Malinao, Anajawan, Suyangan, Poblacion 1, Poblacion 2, Poblacion 3, Cabitoonan, Corazon, Catangnan, Consuelo, Sta. Fe, and Tawin-tawin.
