The province of Surigao Del Norte issued Travel Requirements to people who wish to visit the island of Siargao either for work or vacation or the city/municipalities within the province. (Read the Fourth Supplement to EO No. 21-010, s. 2021)

Entering Travel Requirements

All persons coming from Metro Manila, the Provinces of Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal are not allowed to travel to this Province until father orders. Except for Surigao del Norte Residents, Government APOR on a special mission, and Private APOR whose business transaction in this Province is extremely necessary and cannot be postponed.

All airline companies are also enjoined not to accept passengers EXCEPT Surigao del Norte Residents, Government APOR on a special mission, and Private APOR, with connecting flight from Manila – Cebu – Siargao/Surigao.

SURIGAO DEL NORTE RESIDENTS TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT – PCR TEST, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province ;
Valid identification Card containing an address in Surigao del Norte or Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination within this Province.

GOVERMENT APOR

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid identification Cards;
Travel/Mission Order issued by the Chief of Office

PRIVATE APOR

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva Rt-PCR Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province
Valid identifications Card;
Certification from the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination within this province that his/her business transaction in this Province is extremely necessary and cannot be postponed
Confirmed Booking pf at least 2 nights from DOT- Authorized accommodations.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT (EXCEPT THOSE PROHIBITED PERSONS FROM NCR PLUS BUBBLE AREAS)

WALK-IN TOURISTS

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid Identification Card;
Confirmed Booking of at least 2 nights from DOT-authorized accommodations.

TOURISTS INVITED BY LOCAL RESIDENT OF SURIGAO DEL NORTE

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid Identification Card;
Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of Destination

NON RESIDENT PRIVATE APOR

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid Identification Card;
Confirmed Booking of at least 2 nights from DOT-authorized accommodations.

GOVERNMENT APOR

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid Identification Card;
Travel/Mission Order issued by the Chief of office

VIA SIARGO AIRPORT AND SURIGAO CITY AIRPORT

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT – PCR TEST, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province ;
Valid identification Card containing an address in Surigao del Norte or Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination within this Province.

VIA SEAPORTS OR BY LAND GOING TO CITY AND MAINLAND MUNICIPALITIES

The protocols and requirements issued by the component City or Municipality of Destination within this Province shall govern and should be followed.

VIA SEAPORTS GOING TO SIARGAO ISLAND (FROM OUTSIDE THE PROVINCE)

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT – PCR TEST, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province ;
Valid identification Card containing an address in Surigao del Norte or Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination within this Province.

VIA SEAPORTS GOING TO SIARGAO ISLAND (FROM CITY/ MAINLAND MUNICIPALITIES)

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT – PCR TEST, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province ;
Valid identification Card containing an address in Surigao del Norte or Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination within this Province.

FOR PERSONS COMING FROM THE PROVINCE OF DINAGAT ISLANDS TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

SURIGAO DEL NORTE RESIDENTS

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT – PCR TEST, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province ;
Valid identification Card containing an address in Surigao del Norte or Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of destination within this Province.

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test or Antigen Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid Identification Card;
Travel/Mission Order issued by the Chief of office

PRIVATE APOR

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test or Antigen Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid Identification Card;
Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of Destination within this Province.

TOURISTS

Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test or Antigen Test, released within 48 hours upon arrival in the province;
Valid Identification Card;
Certificate of Acceptance issued by the Mayor of the City/Municipality of Destination within this Province.

Post Antigen Test after 5 days from the date of arrival in the province of ALL TOURISTS and PRIVATE APORs at their own cost.
Those who will be tested positive shall be subjected further to Swab or Saliva RT- PCT Test at their own cost.

Children who are 17 years old and below, are exempted from presentation of Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT-PCR Test.

All Persons passing through the jurisdiction pf this Province (by sea/land) are exempted from presentation of Negative Result on Swab/Saliva RT- PCR Test.

Nonresident Private APORs may be exempted from the requirement of “Confirmed Booking from DOT-authorized accommodations for at least 2 nights” IF they can present proof/s that they are coming to the province for the purpose of delivery or performance of essential goods and services.
