The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the country on Sunday and will bring rain showers and thunderstorms over several areas, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
The Bicol Region, Visayas, Mindanao, and the northern portion of Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Flooding or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the seaboards of Luzon, and slight to moderate in Visayas and Mindanao.
