The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the western section of Luzon and will bring cloudy skies, rain showers and thunderstorms on parts of the country on Monday, PAGASA said in its forecast.
Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, and Benguet will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Flooding or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country on the other hand may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.
Coastal waters will be rough in Extreme Northern Luzon, moderate to rough in the rest of Luzon, and slight to moderate in Visayas and Mindanao.
