I went to Siargao (IAO) and you should too! I will guide you through my experience on the island for 5 days 4 nights and why Siargao should be your next travel destination. From accommodation and other expenses to chef’s kiss food places, and surfing spaces, walk with me along the flamboyant streets and proud shores of the island in Surigao del Norte.
Disclaimer: It was my first time traveling to IAO and I have not yet immersed myself into the island experience to the fullest extent.
Still more to look forward to. My expenses amounted to 10k (excluding airfare shoutout Cebu Pacific Air for the CEBPass ) and I would say it was all totally worth it! So if you’re waiting for a sign to book that flight or to pack your bags, if this ain’t it I don’t know what is! Whether it’s for love, friends, or beaches, Siargao is one hell of a place to visit.
UPDATE: It should be noted that some resorts and establishments did not continue operations after typhoon Odette. So, if there are particular resorts or stores you wish you visit, I suggest it best to check online if they’re still up and running.

Also, I stated that my expenses were about 10k, and that is based only on how much I brought and how much I now have left. I did not track my expenses because I don’t need that negativity in my life #wowsiargao
