The shear line and the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to trigger rains across parts of the country on Thursday, according to the latest PAGASA bulletin.

Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms may prevail over the provinces of Batanes, Apayao, Cagayan, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, and Camarines Norte due to the shear line, PAGASA said, as the weather system also affects eastern Luzon.

Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, meanwhile, may be experienced over Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga del Norte due to the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ  and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned the public against the possible flash floods and landslides due to the rainfall.

Forecast winds over Northern Luzon, the eastern sections of Central, and Southern Luzon will be moderate to strong. It will be accompanied by moderate to rough waters. The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
