A shear line is affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon and Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon continues to affect the rest of Luzon.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather report on Friday, the shear line may cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar.
The Northeast Monsoon may bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and Quezon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The rest of Visayas and Mindanao may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas may have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters while the rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.
