The shear line is affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect the rest of Luzon.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather report on Saturday, the combined effects of the shear line and the easterlies may cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Caraga, Davao Region, Quezon, Laguna, and Northern Samar.
The Northeast Monsoon may bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The combined effects of easterlies and localized thunderstorms may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, Luzon may experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
