Rhenz Abando finally got his shooting going as Anyang KGC leveled its 2023 KBL finals series against Seoul SK Knights with an 81-67 Game 2 victory on Thursday at the Anyang Indoor Gymnasium.
The best-of-seven affair is now tied at 1-1 after the Knights drew first blood in Game 1 last Tuesday.
After an almost scoreless outing in the finals opener, the 25-year-old Abando poured in 18 points on 61.5 shooting from the field alongside four rebounds, three steals, and two assists in 27 minutes of action.
In the previous game, the Filipino import had four markers, two boards, and one dime.
Oh Se Geun paced Anyang with 21 points while Omari Spellman dropped 13 in the victory as they held Seoul SK to 36.8 shooting percentage.
Both teams will look to take a 2-1 lead come Game 3 on Saturday at the Jamil Student Gymnasium.
