Reading and parenting – distinctive from each other but interrelated and interdependent in so many ways. As an educator and your Mayor, it is my obligation to ensure that these two work together for the best foundation of learning for our learners. I emphasized that reading and parenting cannot just go with each other but it is imperative that they do. This was during the GL District HRPTA Presidents and School Heads Christmas Party and Education Forum.

We were graced in this fruitful day with my dearest friend, former Regional Director of DepEd, Dr. Luz Almeda and also in the attendance were District Supervisor Alda G. Minorca, Sandra Fernandez, ABC Pres. Marichu Tiu Minglana, Barangay Captains and guests.
