PUBLIC ADVISORY – Surigao Del Norte, Philippines
Due to the rapidly increasing COVID-19 cases in our Province, the Provincial IATF is now seeing a surge of the aforementioned deadly virus. In this regard, all Surigao del Norte residents as well as visitors herein are hereby reminded to strictly follow all our health protocol (e.g. wearing of face mask and face shield and physical distancing of at least one meter between persons). Those who will be caught for not following any of the health protocol shall be apprehended and prosecuted in accordance with the existing local ordinances and/or national laws.
If the number of COVID-19 cases will continue to increase within one week from the issuance of this Public advisory, we will be constrained to cause the declaration of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in the whole Province of Surigao del Norte.
