The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy skies with rains on Sunday over Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, and Quezon, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Flash floods or landslides may occur during times of moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, also due to the monsoon.
Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may result during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough over the seaboards of Luzon, with waves reaching up to 4.5 meters.
The seas will be slight to moderate, meanwhile, in Visayas and Mindanao.
