LPA enters PAR east of Mindanao; LPA off Palawan expected to exit

A low-pressure area east of Mindanao entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 8 a.m. on Sunday, even as another LPA off Palawan was expected to exit the PAR.

According to a GMA Integrated News Bulletin, weather service PAGASA said neither LPA would directly affect the country.

The rains expected over Palawan, sections of northern Luzon, western Visayas, and large portions of Mindanao were due to the easterlies and local thunderstorms.
