A low pressure area (LPA) will bring scattered rain showers over several parts of the country, PAGASA reported on Thursday.
Based on its 4 p.m. forecast, the weather bureau said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Caraga due to the LPA, which was spotted 275 kilometers east northeast of Surigao City at 3 p.m.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions are forecast in Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions are expected over the rest of Mindanao.
