iNFOCUS: The PNP Maritime-Caraga thru Regional Director LtCol Ervin Glenn Prevido, paid a courtesy visit to LGU- Del Carmen to take an action regarding illegal fishing in Del Carmen| November 11, 2022
The Philippine National Police Maritime of Caraga Region headed by RD LtCol Prevido, had a table meeting with Municipal Vice-Mayor Renato Dulguime together with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources chairperson and discussed the possible effective strategies, sharing of ideas and suggestions on what are the best sea water equipments to be used in illegal fishing concerns when production has always been depleted by unregulated fishing and massive operation of commercial vessels, and on how to discipline and eradicate the illegal fishing in municipal waters of Del Carmen.
PNP Maritime group is willing to join a task force with LGU-Del Carmen, to strengthen the government’s fight against illegal fishing in Siargao Island.
