iNFOCUS: The Caraga Budget Administrators Group Inc. in coordination with the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Regional office conducted a 3-day Training Workshop on the Enhanced Public Financial Management Assessment Tool (PFMAT) for Local Government Units.

The LGU-Del Carmen thru its Municipal Newly-organized LGU – PFM team attended the activity last September 26-28, 2022 at Grand Palace Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte.

Th activity aims to orient and facilitate hands-on training to the LGU-PFM team on the enhanced tool and its electronic version prior to its adoption in the LGU.

The 2022 assessment checked the state of the LGU’s PFM systems and correct identified issues. The assessment also provides the current set of LGU Officials the opportunity to engage with DBM’s governance reforms through timely PFM assessment and improvement planning exercise.
