WWF-Philippines and SM Investments Corporations hosted the Sustainability Forum PH: United For Climate which aims to build common understanding of climate change through the lens of developing nations and to galvanize a climate alliance-initiated industry to serve as a platform for mitigation and adaptation actions.
Our very own Mayor JR Coro is one of the speakers who gave insights on nature-based solutions. As the Local Chief Executive of LGU-Del Carmen, Mayor JR shared how the municipality responded and started rebuilding from a climate disaster that occured in Siargao Island last December 2021, which, hopefully, will shape the kind of perspective that our country needs to consider and must do.
