iNFOCUS: A Simultaneous joint activity of MAFO, BFAR & PCIC in building a resilient and sustainable agri-fishery sector in Del Carmen!
The LGU-Del Carmen through Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Office (MAFO), in collaboration with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and PCIC (Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation), conducted the following programs to Barangays in Del Carmen:
✅ Municipal Fisheries Registration and Licensing
✅ Social Protection Program & PCIC Orientation
✅ Hardin ng Pagbabago Evaluation
✅ Anti-Rabies & Animal Health Care Campaign
✅ Fisherfolk ID Releasing & RSBSA (Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture) Enrollment
✅ Off-Fishing Season IEC (Information, Education and Communication)
This strategy will further boost social protection program for farmers and fisherfolks of Del Carmen, as the partnership aims to uplift their lives, educates them with the existing sustainable development and government services, as well as the management of its agri-fishery resources and be more resilient Siargaonon.
