HAPPENING NOW: STEM Lab for Humanity Placemaking Workshop at Bayay Numancia, Del Carmen | February 04, 2023
Local Government Unit of Del Carmen in partnership with the Espoir School of Life will be establishing the first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Lab for Humanity in the country, particularly in Del Carmen, Siargao Island.
The public innovation in education is the concept of a Public Private Partnership for an LGU-Del Carmen to establish a sustainable natural resources school that will focus on basic science-oriented careers that supports local requirements in Del Carmen.
The face-to face placemaking workshop led by Mayor JR Coro have executed a multi-faced planning, and management of public spaces capitalizing on a local community’s assets, inspiration and potential that aims to gather holistic approach in designing the STEM Laboratory in the Island.
