The southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring cloudy skies, scattered rain and thunderstorms over Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, BARMM, Palawan, and Southern Leyte will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon. Flooding or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The whole country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to west direction while the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
