The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Metro Manila, Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA, Bataan, Zambales, Cavite, and Batangas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the monsoon. Flooding or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The western section of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to west direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
