JAKARTA — Filipino coach Steven “Dale” Vitug and Falcon Esports of Myanmar pulled off a quick 2-0 sweep of S11 Gaming Argentina to move forward in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The win allowed the Burmese club to advance to the third round of the lower bracket where they now await the winner of the match between Team HAQ and Incendio Supremacy.
Falcon, which dealt Blacklist International its first loss in the tournament, needed 15 minutes and 41 seconds to destroy the Argentinians with Min “Naomi” Ko Ko unleashing three kills and 17 assists against just one death to steer the team to the match point.
After a 20-3 kill spread in Game Two, Falcon completed the sweep in less than 12 minutes with Naomi securing back-to-back MVP honors.
