Cleanliness is next to godliness, our parents and teachers taught us. Hence, General Luna ensures that our waste is properly collected and disposed of and the people are educated to minimize or eliminate any and all possible waste-related problems.
In adherence to RA 9003- Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 and Municipal Ordinance #002-16 series of 2016 on Proper Collection and Disposal of Waste, a Special Forum on Proper Waste Disposal was conducted this morning, Feb. 1, 2023, with Tomelyn C. Tinio, Municipal Administrator representing me, Donna Grace T. Estrella, Tourism Officer- Designate, Boni Modanza, MENRO Officer, barangay captains, business organizations and EnviroCare, to learn, relearn and unlearn concepts about waste and its proper disposal to make General Luna a cleaner, greener and healthier place to live and visit.
