Chito Gascon’s ashes brought to CHR; Mass, necrological service to be held

The ashes of the late Commission on Human Rights Chairman Chito Gascon were brought to the CHR’s offices in Quezon City, Super Radyo dzBB’s Rod Vega reported Sunday afternoon.

According to CHR officer-in-charge Commissioner Karen Gomez Dumpit, a Mass would be held for Gascon at 6 p.m.

This would be followed by a necrological service during which Gascon’s family, friends, and co-workers were expected to speak.

Masses and services would be held for Gascon at the CHR in the next several days.

Both the Mass and service would be streamed online on the CHR’s Facebook page.
