The Northeast Monsoon continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon, while a shear line is affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather report at 4 p.m. Thursday, a shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Quezon, Northern and Eastern Samar.
The Northeast Monsoon, meanwhile, will cause cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon will experience strong winds with rough coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon may have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:24 a.m. on Friday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
